Kalina loves to establish long-lasting relationships with everyone that comes to AIW, whether they are staff, students or guests. She is passionate about her students' education, and dedicated to their well-being and success. With over 15 years in the industry and more than 10 at the Institute, education presents an opportunity for her to inspire others and create a positive environment for the next generation of superstar stylists.
Natasha Urban - Education Manager
National Aveda Educator
A National Educator with over 15 years of experience specializing in colouring, Natasha loves sharing her knowledge with new and experienced stylists alike. She spends her time innovating our curriculum, training new educators, and supporting all students. Natasha is passionate about Aveda's mission and loves that she can be part of preserving the environment and helping communities around the world.
Emily Suttorp - Educator
National Aveda Educator
As an Aveda Alumni with more than 10 years in the industry, Emily has returned to AIW to share her passion for hair through education. Students can expect a welcoming and supportive environment in her classroom, and to leave with a clear understanding of how to succeed in a salon environment. As a lifelong learner, she loves Aveda’s wholistic approach to education and the support our community provides.
Amilia Mulchand - Educator
With more than 12 years of experience under her belt from high-end salon/spas, to smaller, boutique salons, Amilia is excited to share her knowledge with the next generation of stylists. She makes class fun and exciting, while still challenging her students to push themselves to their full potential. She values every moment of time with her students and loves supporting them and seeing them succeed as they launch their new career.
Nicole Diamond - Educator
After graduating from the Aveda Institute Winnipeg and pursuing a successful career behind the chair for nearly 10 years, Nicole is excited to share her expertise with new Aveda students! She offers a positive, supportive and uplifting environment, which results in building students' confidence and pushing them to their full potential. Nicole loves how Aveda gives back to local communities and wants to share that community love with her students.
Kat Orbanski - Educator
Kat’s love for the beauty industry started when she was a student at the Aveda Institute many years ago. She’s passionate about continuously learning because it means she can continue to evolve, and teach new trends, techniques and styles. Kat is dedicated to her students’ success, and fosters both technical precision and creativity in her classroom. To Kat, Aveda is a second home where she can bring her whole self, and she always encourages her students to do the same.
Keira Shersty - Educator In Training
Students can expect Keira to be supportive, attentive and uplifting. She takes inspiration from all the educators she had when attending the Aveda Institute several years ago, and all the mentors she worked with in-salon. Keira is excited to give back by sharing her knowledge and providing a fun, safe and positive learning environment.
Jullie Robertson - Educator In Training
Jullie has a high attention to detail and loves precision services, so she’s the perfect person to have in your corner when you’re on the clinic floor. She’ll support you in providing services to your guests, offering expert tips and building your confidence behind the chair. Learning has never been so fun with Jullie’s infectious smile and positive attitude!
