What Do I Need To Apply To Aveda Institute Winnipeg
Have you been curious as to what you’ll need to be accepted into our program? It’s your lucky day, here is a list of EXACTLY what you’ll need!
BOOK A TOUR
The first step to enrolling in our program is to have a virtual or in-person Career Planning Session/Tour. This is where you can see our space for yourself, meet our educators and see our current students at work. This allows you to learn more about the program, ask questions, set a financing plan and more!
SEND IN YOUR APPLICATION
Once you are ready to enroll, you will fill out our simple application form and submit a recommendation letter. This can be from a past teacher, coach or mentor, as long as it is not from a family member you are good to go! A high school transcript will also be required - if you don’t have one on hand, you can easily call your high school and pay a small fee to receive this. If you are not able to get a hold of a high school transcript, there are other options we can discuss. You will also submit a 250-word personal essay explaining your story as to why you want to enter the world of hairstyling. Last but certainly not least, you need PASSION for hair!
WATCH YOUR INBOX!
We’ll get back to you within the next few days about your application status. We know it can feel like a long wait - but we’re so excited for you, and we’ll let you know as soon as possible!
Our admissions team is here to support you through our application process, and our educators are here to support you through your schooling. We are here to help you thrive, and we are excited to help you kick start this next journey. Learn more about a career in hairstyling or book your tour today!
